“Oh my gosh! Adam, I would have picked you up from the airport!” She threw her phone onto the bed and dived out the window, flying down into his arm. “I knew you said you’d be coming over, but I didn’t think you’d be so quick!” Steph wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him soundly.
“How was the flight?” She asked, pulling back a little.
Catching Stephanie he spun her about before pulling her into a tight hug. “Missed you to much to wait luv.” He said before setting her to her feet. “The flight was alright, you know how these things are. They place you in a tiny lil can and you travel through the air for hours all cramped and uncomfortable to touch down where you want to be.” He shrugged and bent to brush their lips together.
“How is my girl? And how was the rest of your holiday?” He asked.
“I missed you too.” She murmured, slipping one hand into his. The blonde was beaming, and picked up Adam’s bag. She tugged them into her home, and leaned gently against him as she gestured to the entrance hall. “Welcome to my home.” Steph nuzzled against him.
“I’m fantastic, now you’re here. It was… Okay. New Zealand was nice. I preferred Oz a little bit more… But that was down to you.”
Steph preened a little at Adam calling her his girl, and slid her phone away, squealing and talking animatedly at Josh, before leaping up. She had preparations to make.
It took a couple of days for the biggest changes to be organised- having a lot of money and the right connections helped with speedier completions of the renovations.
And then her phone went off, finally, with the name she wanted to see.
“So I’m standing outside this lovely house but something is missin from the picture.” Adam said into his phone, the Taxi that dropped him off pulling away. “I think there is supposed to be this lovely beauty with blonde hair out front to say hello.” He finished with a grin as he placed his bag down on the side walk.

Adam popped his hip against the Jeep. “That would be stellar Luv.” He said, a grin split his face. “Could spend some time getting reacquainted with you if I stayed there.” He said. Chuckling deep in his throat. “Might want to stay longer if I get to see your lovely face every day.” He added.
“Mmm. Can’t say I have any problems with that.” She said, playing with a curl. “I should probably let you get back to it, and Josh must be getting bored, watching me natter… So… I’ll see you soon? Call me, love.” Steph said, grin almost splitting her face.
Adam smiled at the phone. “I would like that quite a bit luv, tell your mate hi and to treat my girl right till I get there.” He said before she disconnected. Getting into his Jeep he decided to book his ticket tonight, he had a flight to catch and a woman to see.
